About Bilda's Friess Lake Pub

Bilda’s Friess Lake Pub was established in 2007 when Vickie and Bob Bilda purchased what was the Sunset View Restaurant and then briefly Charlie’s Pub. Located at the corners of State Roads 167 and 164 in Hubertus, it is a perfect waypoint on the Kettle Moraine Scenic Drive near Holy Hill Cathedral, the highest point in southeast Wisconsin. Interestingly, the building is located on the site of what was once Friess Lake School, which now stands across the road. Evidence of this can be found at the Richfield Historical Society.

Bilda’s has a little for nearly everybody. Family friendly, the pub is completely smoke free. There are two wide flat-screen and three smaller TV’s that carry popular sporting events and news programs. The pub also holds special events such as wine and beer tasting parties and holiday gatherings.
